At Sleeping Giant Media, we’re not interested in old hat SEO, we’re not looking for guess work paid-search, and we don’t want standard social. We’re bigger than that. We are GIANTS.

You may not be an expert – but that’s fine. Because we are! From the moment you step through the doors, you will be in the company of some of the country’s foremost authorities in digital marketing, and will undergo an intensive course of training to get you up to speed. Our Home

On the outskirts of the town centre, you wouldn’t expect an unassuming concrete building to house the Giants that it does. And yet, here we are in the penthouse of the Civic Centre, overlooking the English Channel.

Between these walls, we have a secret room, a fully stocked bar, a cupboard loaded with snacks, fridges loaded with drinks, games consoles, numerous breakout areas, offices covered in grass, nerf guns, a dartboard, scooters, a lego logo wall, and (probably most famously) a ball pit.

Plus, we’re only a short walk from the beach which is AWESOME in the summer!

The Client Services Team is made up of people from different walks of life, who all share the common goal of exceeding expectations for their clients. They are responsible for designing unique and highly technical strategies for their clients to achieve higher levels of engagement and ROI through search engine optimisation and paid search.

Supported by the Client Services Director, Head of Client Services, and Head of Data this group of people want to welcome any new starter with a warm smile, a cup of tea, and a minimum 3-month course of training before setting you loose on client accounts.

We want you to come into the team raring to go, to learn the basics, and to constantly develop – pushing yourself, the team, and the business to greater levels of customer satisfaction through dedication to the role. The role involves learning and implementing the many skills and best practices around PPC advertising, Search Engine Optimisation, Outreach Strategy and Social Media to support the Search Account Manager in the running of key client accounts.

The Team:

The Commercial Team is a hard-working and enthusiastic mix of people, all eager to bring the best solutions to new and existing clients, as well as our partners in other agencies. You’ll be supported by the Head of Commercial, and be welcomed into a team-focused department, reliant on high levels of drive and some just really terrible jokes (and a love for Deadpool).

 

You:

We would like a self-sufficient team player who is energised and raring to go, bringing in engaged businesses alongside current customers and always looking to exceed targets set. An understanding of digital marketing is a must for this role, and preference will be given to those who have been in a sales role within this industry, as we’re looking to get you up and running as soon as possible – an overview of our specific services will be provided.

 

This is a new business role suited to a hunter mentality. You’ll be responsible for adding to our client network, prospecting new leads through various means, qualifying them, helping to match our services against potential clients’ needs, following the sales process from introduction through to after-sales support. We’re not in for the hard sell, we’re after someone who will provide solutions to businesses and individuals in a consultative manner, always looking for the best fit.

As our new Social Media Manager, you’d be an implementer, facilitator and inspiring team manager, working closely with the team to deliver an award-winning social media offering to our clients.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the account manager & social media team in the delivery of organic and paid social strategy
  • Work collaboratively with Account Managers on the strategic planning of social strategies for your portfolio of clients

Joining the business as a new Account Manager you will need to lead and develop a portfolio of client accounts while managing a team of like-minded GIANTS. The role will require a high level of experience in PPC advertising, Search Engine Optimisation, Outreach Strategy and Social Media, as well as an overall marketing strategy and account development. Don’t worry though! You’ll have the full support of the Client Service team, the Associate Client Services Director and the Head of Data in order to achieve these goals.

We’re after a PPC know-it-all to join team Giant!

We’re after an implementer, facilitator and inspiring team manager who will work with the PPC Lead to shape and deliver the PPC offering we have for our clients, as well as the PPC team.

You’ll be working closely with key clients to deliver digital advertising campaigns and strategies to an exceptional standard.

 

The role of a PPC Manager:

  • Support the Account Managers & PPC team in the delivery of strategy
  • Work collaboratively with the Account Managers
  • Manage the PPC Executives and Senior PPC Executives in the team. 
  • Delegate tasks effectively
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with the PPC team
  • Support the PPC team in the daily optimisation & management of PPC campaigns
  • Inspire, nurture & coach the PPC team
  • Liaise directly with clients and report on campaign performance
  • Work with the PPC Lead to implement new PPC processes and automations
  • Support the commercial team & PPC Lead in the development of new business
  • Represent all things Giant
  • Awaken Potential in yourself, your fellow Giants and the business’ Clients and the SGM community wherever possible.

 

Requirements:

As one of Kent’s largest digital marketing agencies, Sleeping Giant Media is looking for an outstanding Creative Leader to provide insight, knowledge, and support to our Creative Service Offering.

Facilitating exceptional campaign lead marketing activities, including but not restricted to Social Media, Digital PR and Content Marketing.

Key to the success of this role will be to develop the team, offering and creative process, to deliver an outstanding creative services provision available to our clients as either a supplement to, or a standalone service for, their digital marketing efforts.

The Head of Creative Services will focus on:

  • Developing our Creative Offering
  • Leading, developing, and evolving the Creative Resources teams and specialists at SGM. 
  • Building an environment for the Creative Services Teams to excel within.
