Experience

Claire Mason is our Creative Trainee here at Sleeping Giant Media. Claire’s passion for writing began at school and university where she achieved a 2:1 degree in Journalism. Following University, she gained 18 months of experience working at a marketing and PR agency, developing her skills in writing and social media. Claire has also worked in administrative and HR roles within the charity and private sector before moving full circle back to digital marketing.

Claire likes to infuse a fun and engaging tone into her content, believing in the power of connecting emotionally with the audience to achieve effective communication. She is committed to developing professionally, demonstrated through completing certifications in Hubspot’s Social Media Marketing course and a Digital Marketing Internship Programme with the e-learning provider Girls in Marketing.

Claire is part of Sleeping Giant Media’s culture squad and supports the team in organising company-wide events and wellbeing activities. She also writes regular digital marketing content for the Sleeping Giant Media blog.

Extra info

Outside of work, Claire enjoys singing and attends a musical theatre choir once a week. Her other interests include gaming (video games), movies, history (particularly greek mythology and medieval) and women’s rights.
