Senior Digital Creative Manager
About Liz Quinn
When did you start working at Sleeping Giant Media?
What’s your specialist skill or party trick?
I truly believe I can eat an unlimited amount of McDonald’s fries, and I’m calling that a skill.
What does your day job entail?
Is herding cats an option? In all seriousness, I oversee the running of the Digital Creative crew, which is made up of social and content specialists, as well as being hands-on with my own client portfolio. I make sure that the team have everything they need, and that clients are happy. Liasinging with account teams and points of contact internally and externally. I also help in delivering training on content writing and SEO content best practices.
What areas of digital marketing do you specialise in?
All things content! I love words.
Why Sleeping Giant Media?
There’s a special vibe at Giant Towers. IT’s like the energy and passion of a startup, paired with the confidence and know-how of a global brand. It’s infectious, and I was hooked from my first interview.
What’s your favourite part of working at Sleeping Giant Media?
I’m going to be cheesy and say the people – I feel really lucky to work in a team that support, challenge and motivate each other every day, from pushing for things to be better to cropping up with a random meme on a rough day. I know how rare that is and I don’t take it for granted.
What’s one of your favourite campaigns or accounts you’ve worked on?
The Google Digital Garage project was pretty special to work on – partly because the lessons are available all over the world, and partly because of spending time at the Google offices… if you know about the food, you’ll understand.
What about digital inspires you the most?
I love the speed and variety you get in the digital world and think it has the power to do tonnes of good for the world when it’s harnessed the right way. We’ve seen this evidenced in so many forms recently during the crazy times of 2020, and really it’s only going to keep getting better.
Name a random fact about yourself…
I had my photo taken by Humans of New Year whilst I was there on a trip. If you haven’t checked out their Facebook, do it now.
