Our Squads

Culture Squad - Find the joy, embrace community
The Culture Squad exists to spread joy, support and wellbeing throughout the business and our wider community. Their mission is to make SGM a more inclusive, positive and connected workplace, through inclusive events, employee-led initiatives, mental health awareness and charitable action.
IDS Squad - Use our voices, embrace challenge, find the solution
The Identify, Discuss & Solve Squad creates space for open dialogue, accountability and change. They work across the business to identify challenges, gather feedback and help shape practical improvements — making sure every Giant feels seen, supported and heard.
N.O.T Squad – Equity, Education, Allyship
The Nothing off the Table Squad champions fairness, inclusivity and diversity in all aspects of Sleeping Giant Media life. From EDI policies and inclusive recruitment to bias training and allyship campaigns, they drive education and accountability to make our workplace equitable and welcoming for everyone.
Green Squad – Inspire change to help protect the Earth
The Green Squad leads the charge on sustainability at SGM. With the goal of reaching Net Zero by 2038, they coordinate company-wide initiatives, from plant-based challenges to beach cleans and carbon literacy training — embedding eco-conscious action into everything we do.

Charity & Volunteering Opportunities
We believe that businesses should be a force for good and we actively encourage our Giants to give back to their communities. Through our charity & volunteering opportunities, employees have the chance to participate in company-supported charity initiatives and contribute to causes that matter. We regularly organise fundraising events, allowing our team to support meaningful social causes while fostering a strong sense of community.
Beyond financial contributions, we prioritise hands-on engagement. Our Green Squad leads volunteering projects such as beach cleans and litter-picking events, giving our team the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the environment and local communities. To further support this commitment, we provide one paid day off per year for volunteering, allowing Giants to dedicate time to a cause they care about.
