We’ve been recognised for our investment in our Giants 🏆
Here at Giant Towers, whether that’s remote or in the tower itself, we pride ourselves on the investment we put into our people.
This investment ranges from an extensive list of benefits, through to a robust training programme all our Giants find themselves on. Building the next generation of kick-ass digital marketers.
We’ve won awards for it before in fact, being recognised as Employer of the Year on a few occasions through KEiBA and Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.
We’re super proud of our entire team here at Sleeping Giant Media, continually looking to improve and build upon what makes us a great investor in people.
Helping to take the reins themselves to see things implemented, bringing new ideas to the table and pushing our business forward.
The last eighteen months has put a strain on every individual across the globe, and we’re so proud of team Giant for all they’ve done to remain composed, forward-thinking, and as awesome as always.
That’s why we’re even more proud than ever to announce that we’ve been recognised this year in the Investors In People Awards!
This has seen us in finalist positions for:
– The Employee Engagement Award 2021
– The Reward and Recognition Award 2021
– Young Person of the Year Award – Holly Cooke
– Young Person of the Year Award – Amber Vellacott
You can see the full shortlist for each award here: https://www.investorsinpeople.com/events/awards/
Nell Sanders, our Head of People says: “Even to be finalists of these awards is bloody amazing, and something I’m so proud of us for. This has been a massive team effort. Without everyone coming together to share ideas, thoughts, issues, solutions – without people sharing the fun, the pressure, the insight, the culture – we wouldn’t have been able to even enter, let alone be finalists.
I’m over the moon that we’re being recognised in this way.”
The Investors in People Awards celebrate the very best organisations and individuals from around the world across various organisational, people, wellbeing and leadership categories. Each year hundreds of organisations from the UK and abroad battle it out to take home one of the sought after trophies to show their award-winning commitment to investing in their people.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, commented:
“Now in our 8th year, it always makes me feel immensely proud to see so many fantastic organisations staking their claim to be the best. And every year, the entries do get more and more competitive and the judging even tighter. Reaching the final shortlist is a testament to the amazing commitment these organisations are making to make work better for their people, and they truly deserve this recognition.”
The winners will be announced on the 23rd November 2021 through a virtual awards ceremony – so we might don a party hat or two as we watch on.
