The inaugural East Kent B2B event was held in Canterbury on Tuesday 10th September. The exhibition was held at Canterbury Christ Church University’s Augustine House and the day commenced with a business networking breakfast, where Luke was invited to be guest speaker.

After a cooked breakfast and welcome talks from representatives from both Canterbury City Council and Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, Luke gave a presentation entitled “Overview of SEO, PPC and Social Media”. He introduced digital marketing and highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of each of the three major channels, before giving an explanation of how they can be used in a B2B environment. The whole presentation is available to view below:

Luke’s talk was well received and the majority of the 52 attendees whose feedback we received rated it as “very good”. They also commented that the information provided in the talk would help their businesses.

The exhibition itself took place in the hall of Augustine House. There were about 70 stands in total, representing businesses from East Kent and further afield. Aside from the main exhibition, there were talks and workshops on offer throughout the day, concluding with a Digital in Kent Q&A panel session.
