Evie Honzik is the Senior Finance Executive at Sleeping Giant Media, responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Since joining the agency in 2019, she has played a key role in supporting financial processes, improving systems, and ensuring accuracy across everything from revenue tracking to payroll.
Evie began her career early in an administrative role, gaining experience in business operations while completing apprenticeships in business administration and customer service. Her interest in finance grew as she took on more responsibility in bookkeeping and payroll, which led her to specialise in finance and develop a broad skill set that she continues to build on.
In her role at Sleeping Giant Media, Evie manages invoicing, debtor control, payroll processing, and maintaining financial systems in Xero. She also handles client contracts and supports both internal teams and clients with financial queries. Evie is proactive in finding ways to improve processes, making them more efficient and easier to use across the business.

Living by the coast is also a big part of her lifestyle—she loves walking by the sea, going for a swim, or heading out on her paddleboard when the tide and weather are in her favour.
A passionate music fan, Evie’s taste spans genres and decades. From soul, R&B, and hip hop to 70s rock and 80s pop, her playlists are as varied as her concert calendar. She loves attending live gigs and finds real joy in seeing her favourite artists perform in person, soaking up the atmosphere and the energy of the crowd.
She’s also a dedicated film buff, with an extensive knowledge of cinema that ranges from black-and-white classics of the 1940s to action-packed 80s blockbusters.
