Caroline Wire works as an SEO Manager here at Sleeping Giant Media and has over 6 years experience of search engine optimisation. Caroline is an avid linguist with a degree in French and Spanish from the University of Surrey, It was her love of language that drew her to digital marketing with her first role as an SEO copywriter. This helped to inspire a passion for all things SEO, but particularly content and on-page SEO.
Digital marketing is a second career for Caroline, as she previously worked as in international purchasing and supply for over a decade. She has experience in a range of different industries, including manufacturing, travel and financial services, which has proven invaluable in understanding clients’ businesses and the challenges they may face.
Talks and Recognition
Caroline enjoys all aspects of SEO, including data analysis to understand the why behind organic performance and target audience research. However, she has a particular passion for on page SEO and the connection between entity SEO and conten. A further reasearch interest is GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and its impact on content structure for AI.
Outside of work, Caroline has combined her love of languages and volunteering to good effect by helping to teach French at her local primary school. She also enjoys gardening and trying to save her plants from destruction by her two rescue rabbits!
