The Client

Perfectly Green offer a wide range of high quality artificial grass, designed to give the perfect finishing touch to your garden or projects. Providing both the product and a robust installation service.

Sleeping Giant Media worked with Perfectly Green to focus on their SEO and PPC. From this work, they have seen some GIANT results, including increased paid search leads and new users increased by 114%, all whilst expanding their content to focus on their local offerings.

The Brief

Perfectly Green have been a long term client of Sleeping Giant Media since a manual link penalty, which significantly affected organic performance for some key website pages, meant they sourced our services. We first worked on removing the link penalty and were successful after six iterations of the disavow process and manual removal of link submissions. We also submitted four reconsideration requests and managed to remove the penalty on the fourth submission.

The Approach

Our approach was to focus on single user installations and re-seller & commercially focused content to drive commercial, end-user and re-seller leads.

Perfectly Green are the premier artificial grass installer in the UK. They have vast experience in this sector, with a majority of their business coming from installation and re-selling enquiries via the website.

As part of a wider strategy, we worked with Perfectly Green to expand the content on their website to focus on their local offering by expanding out their location focused content.

Perfectly Green had a new website built in July 2015. We helped with the transition and migration of the site to achieve over 98% year on year growth when comparing March 2015-2016.

Organic traffic to the website increased by 98% March 2015-2016 and saw goal completions from organic traffic up by 205%. New users to the website increased by 114% during this period, driving a large number of good quality leads, with paid search leads up 14% too.

We improved their longtail keywords across the board and observed gradual generic keyword recovery. All of this resulting in direct traffic increasing by 158% YoY and goal completions increased by 223%.
