When did you start working at Sleeping Giant Media?
What does your day job entail?
I lead on a portfolio of clients so I am responsible for the strategy, delivery and management of each account across PPC and SEO. I have a close relationship with all of our clients so I am the main point of contact for each of them. If we have a client that has social or content time, then I will help manage that relationship and delivery as well.
What areas of digital marketing do you specialise in?
My favourite thing to do, which also happens to be my speciality, is on-page optimisation. The more creative I can be with my recommendations, the better.
Why Sleeping Giant Media?
I knew about the biz for quite a while before I decided to take the leap and apply. I studied marketing at university (although, I didn’t finish), however, it made me fall in love with the creative elements of marketing. I wanted to work in digital marketing, but was worried I didn’t’ have enough experience for the role – however Sleeping Giant Media’s most successful recruitment tactic is taking a chance on passionate people who want to learn, regardless of your skillset.
What’s your favourite part of working at Sleeping Giant Media?
I love the diverse nature of the job. Yes, we have our role with our expectations, however, you are encouraged to get involved in all aspects of the business, so you really are doing something different all of the time.
What’s one of your favourite campaigns or accounts you’ve worked on?
We work with such a diverse range of industries that it would be hard to pick a favourite! But I have really enjoyed working with a group litigation business this year, and finding sign-ups through SEO, PPC and social.
What’s your favourite marketing platform and why?
Google Search Console – it’s full of amazing information and has helped inform so much direct user behaviour/trending areas of the site for our clients during the pandemic.

I have a twin!
