As part of our commitment to social and corporate responsibility, we’ve pledged to raise a whopping £10,000 for our chosen charity, Combat Stress!

Combat Stress treats British Armed Forces veterans who are suffering from mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and PTSD. Their services are provided free of charge so they rely on charitable donations to keep going.

Fowlmead Country Park Confidence CourseIn order to raise the £10,000 for charity, through our charity arm Challenge SGM we will be taking part in a number of events in the upcoming months. Our first opportunity to raise some dosh will be the KM Assault Course Challenge, which is taking place at Fowlmead Country Park near Deal. Twelve foolhardy brave giants are taking part in the obstacle course, which is probably going to be wet and muddy just to add to the fun! Now we’re not all known for our love of mud and dirt so don’t think this assault course is going to be a walk in the park. Far from it! Having checked out the list of obstacles some of us are quaking in our boots!

To be able to hit our target, we need as many people as possible to take part in the fundraising! Challenge SGM was set up so that likeminded people could spur each other on to take part in physical challenges in order to raise sponsorship for charity. Challenge SGM will deal with the administration, registering for events, paying registration fees, etc. all you have to do it raise as much money as possible and turn up on the day. So if you’re up for the challenge and want to get involved get in touch!

If you don’t fancy dusting off your trainers, please be kind and sponsor us. Your generosity will be much appreciated. Not every challenge is going to involve getting muddy, we’ve got plenty of other ideas up our sleeve and we’d love for you to suggest some challenges for us to do. Or if there’s something you’d really love to do for charity, what are you waiting for? This is why Challenge SGM was created. Send us an email.
