Luke – loving what you’re doing here. Looks great, keep up the fine work.

Now re: Kout, I’m intrigued what you and your clients think about Klout (and other similar services, Peer Index, Kred etc)? My clients are all kinds of love with it yet have no idea what it really means and perhaps more importantly, don’t even consider the down sides of it i.e.
the ability to game the system (tweet more), that it doesn’t actually measure real influence (I have a higher score than many people that run multi $bn businesses – pretty sure they have more influence than me) and that it’s not really topic related (i.e. my score is 41 irrelevant of what I’m talking about).

HI Ben, I know exactly what you mean! Klout has taken off and people are loving it regardless of the level of understanding. I think it is well positioned for the people relatively new to twitter craving some form of measurement and validation for their efforts. And to be fair, they have done with to make it simple to use and view.

We see it as a bit of a guide, but like all other measurement packages (that I have come across at least) it doesn’t cover everything and there is no way it can. It is only when you combine it with other tools that you can build up a full picture. Incidentally with that score.. you are classified as #Klouthot!
