Last night we attended the Kent Invicta Chamber Business Awards Presentation Dinner and came home with three trophies! We received several special mentions throughout the evening commending our achievement of beating nearly 80 other businesses to be finalists in three categories, which was the first time in the awards’ history that this had happened.
Unfortunately we didn’t come home with any winner’s trophies but as finalists we will be put forward to the British Chambers of Commerce National Awards, where we could be in with a chance of winning the £25,000 prize for Outstanding Business Achievement.
Chief Executive of the Kent Invicta Chamber, Jo James, said:
“This year we had a record number of entries for each category but what impressed us most was the quality of the applications received…Sleeping Giant Media are an excellent example of business excellence in Kent, having been selected as a finalist for three of the five awards on the evening. Special mention was given to this achievement, the first time since the awards inception that a company has achieved this…we look forward to them going on to greater success.”
We enjoyed a lovely dinner followed by entertainment from Graham Jolley, who performed ‘mind reading’ illusions, even getting our own Anthony on the stage at one point! All who attended had a great night. Thanks to the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce for putting on the event.
